This week has been exciting in more ways than one. Not only have I been reporting at the Sinquefield Cup, but I experienced my first Mizzou Football game as the in-game host/emcee.

I was approached by Mizzou Network this spring to become the first in-game host/emcee at the seven Missouri Tiger home games in the fall of 2014. Of course I was more than excited to come on board!

Until now, football games at Faurot Field have been solely narrated to fans in attendance by the exceptionally talented public address announcer, Randy Moehlman. I now join Randy on the field, in the parking lot at tailgates and more, taking fans right into the thick of the action.

To start the season at the South Dakota State home opener, I reported on the Tiger Tailgate of the Game, the Rally House Ultimate Mizzou Fan, the Columbia Regional Airport seat upgrade and led the stadium in the Missouri Waltz.

The game also marked an exciting milestone, as the Mizzou Network’s first football game under the umbrella of the newly launched ESPN network — the SEC Network. It is an exciting time at my Alma mater and I am honored and thrilled to be a part of it!
