I’ve had my fair share of media days and interviews, but Tuesday I accomplished a new feat: an interview marathon of 24 consecutive sit-downs. Whew! What a day!

It was fun to test my interview chops as the official Missouri Valley Conference TV interviewer, sitting down with all 20 MVC Men’s and Women’s Basketball coaches, as well as, some of the league’s top players such as Wichita State’s trio of stars: Fred VanVleet, Ron Baker and Tekele Cotton.
The Valley really stepped it up this year moving the venue to the Palladium St. Louis. In addition, they also brought on Webstream Sports to run the Media Day web stream and produce the MVC TV interviews. WebStream Sports is the company that will take on the new Valley TV channel on ESPN3 this season. It is really great to see the conference stepping up its multimedia initiatives and continue to close the gap between itself and the big conferences. After all, the MVC is regarded as one of the nations top basketball conferences, despite its size. I love it!
It was such a pleasure to sit down with all of the conference’s elite coaches, including the likes of Wichita State’s Gregg Marshall and Jody Adams.
It was such a pleasure to interview one of the top WBB players of all time Sheryl Swoopes at today’s #MVCHoopsTipOff! She is regarded as the “Michael Jordan” of women’s hoops, played into her 40’s, was the first to sign when the WNBA formed, Olympic gold medalist, championship rings, just to name a few of her accomplishments
