Going behind-the-scenes of the 2015 MLB Draft, into the Cardinals war room was an experience I will never forget. It was fun to show fans inside the process that is the First-Year Player Draft.

From the secret draft board, to waiting with anticipation for the team to be on the clock — the first round of the MLB draft is every baseball fan’s dream to experience it from within. I am blessed that I am granted access, as the team’s Insider, to behind-the-scenes stories like this. A process, you just have to see for yourself…

The story continued exactly one week later, as three of the Cardinals top four draft picks visited Busch Stadium to officially sign with the club. It was such a magical moment to see the kids’ dreams come true right before them, as they accepted their Cardinals jersey’s with their names on the back, walked into the Major League dugout for the first time as pros and met the players they hope to take the field with some day.

I wish these guys and the rest of the Cardinals 2015 draft class the best of luck!
