A chance to capture the Cardinals players in a fun, laid-back environment surrounded by the best players in the game, my #CardsInsider road trip to Cincinnati was a success! We got a lot of great feedback on the content produced and I had a blast doing it.

The St. Louis Cardinals sent me to the 2015 MLB All-Star Game at Great American Ballpark to give a behind-the-scenes look at what our six All-Stars were up to. I shot, edited, produced, reported and wrote videos and articles about each day’s activities. Sunday’s video consisted of the Futures Game, where Luis Perdomo from Class A Peoria represented the club, while Ozzie Smith participated in the Legends & Celebrity Softball Game.

Monday the players arrived and I followed them through All-Star Media Day, autograph sessions, their workout and BP, and the Home Run Derby. This day really gave me a chance to capture the fun they were having with their families and was one of my favorite parts of the trip. I believe the fan base really connected with the family element and enjoyed seeing the players from that perspective.

The main event kicked off on Tuesday with the All-Star parade, where I captured the Cardinals coming down the red carpet in downtown Cincinnati. I was also able to catch up with them before the game, where they showed me the Nike All-Star swag they received and talked about the fun of the parade and anticipation for the big game.

The fans enjoyed seeing what their All-Stars were up to at the Mid-Summer Classic and I enjoyed delivering that content. It was a big win for #CardsInsider!

I was also a guest on CBS Sports 920AM while on location in Cincinnati. It’s always a blast to chat with Brian Stull on the radio! Listen here –>> http://www.insidestlaudio.com/StullShow/071315-6BSS.mp3

Other #CardsInsider stories…

When I returned from the All-Star Break, where we debuted the Cardinals Clubhouse Tour video series, I was greeted with another fabulous opportunity to interview Kurt Warner and cover his Christian Day at the Ballpark event.

The Cardinals wives are a fabulous group of women and are very active in the community. It was a pleasure to highlight their charity work that weekend as well.
