Right now I have a stack of books on my nightstand almost as high as my lamp😂 It’s safe to say I am a total book nerd. (A little secret: my fiance took me to the bookstore for Valentine’s Day last month and it was a wonderful gift!) Here’s what I’m reading (or looking to read) right now.
She Reads Truth Bible
My numero uno right now is my bible. I bought a BEAUTIFUL new bible from the gals at She Reads Truth and it has become something I read EVERY DAY. I’m currently tackling reading the bible in one year from cover to cover, in chronological order. At 28-years-old, it’s hard to believe, but this is the first time I’ve ever really sat down and done this. I’m excited to take it in as an adult in the order in which it was put together. For all you guys out there, they have He Reads Truth bibles too! Highly recommend!
My rating: 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This New York Times Bestseller written by Tim Tebow is uplifting and motivational. It’s a quick read that helps put life in perspective. I like a good Tim Tebow pep talk (see his Saturday SEC Network morning broadcasts) and this brings his positive messages to you in book form. Kuddos to Tebow and all that he does to help spread positive vibes, despite the haters!
My rating: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
JB Carr: The life and times of Ireland’s greatest amateur golfer
The stars align as I begin to read this book! I work in the PGA TOUR studios in the World Golf Village, just steps away from the World Golf Hall of Fame and am going to embark on my first trip to Ireland this summer. This book is the story of Joe Carr, the first Irishman inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame and the namesake of the award winning golf travel company Carr Golf that has graciously invited me to participate in their annual World Invitational Father & Daughter Tournament in July.
Now while I get busy reading this book, go sign up for the event! I want to see you there!
Other books on my nightstand:
- The 100-Yard Journey — a memoir of Mizzou football coaching legend Gary Pinkel, co-authored by sport media journalist Dave Matter
- The Power of Now, by Eckart Tolle
