I’m excited to return home this week to St. Louis for the PGA Championship. I’ve got a few fun projects that I’m doing, so make sure and stay tuned to my social media to keep up! You better believe STL is excited for the PGA!

A huge sports town with a love of food and beer, St. Louis is sure to come out to Bellerive for this week’s PGA Championship. But for all of you making the trip to our city, here are some of my favorite hometown spots…

Staying close to the course? Several fun neighborhoods are at your reach, from Clayton & Ladue to the Central West End and Soulard — take your pick of the many suburbs of STL.

We all know, St. Louis is known for its beer — so make sure to pay a visit to the home of Budweiser, the Clydesdales will greet you at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery, where its new Biergarten is the perfect place to hang after the tour. (More into craft beer? Schlafly, Four Hands and several other breweries are popping up all over.)

But did you know The Lou is also famous for its fare? Toasted ravioli, BBQ, provel pizza, gooey butter cake and more. You have to try them all (and report back to me!)

Want to try toasted ravioli and provel pizza all at once? Order up some Imo’s and you won’t be disappointed. The deluxe pizza is my favorite, but any toppings of your choice will do because the unique, melty provel cheese on this thin crust pie is really what you are after. Add a side of our famous fried ravioli and you’ll induce yourself in a St. Louis food coma that you won’t regret.

Craving more Italian? Head to the Hill to experience some of the best handmade toasted ravs and pasta around (or my favorite Zia’s Salad). Finish it off with a stop to the famous Ted Drewes Frozen Custard.

You can’t officially say you’ve been to St. Louis until you’ve seen The Arch and Busch Stadium. Around here, being a Cardinals fan is not a choice, it’s a birthright — the St. Louis Cardinals Stadium is equally a St. Louis landmark as The Gateway Arch. Even though the Birds on the Bat are on-the-road this week, its still worth checking out. Right next door is Ballpark Village with the largest TV you’ll ever see and enough bars to make for a great night. If you want some incredible rooftop views, make sure to stop by Three Sixty too (we did some of our wedding photos up there)!

If you bring your sticks I invite you to head to the Illinois side, where I grew up. Annbriar Golf Course and Gateway National are my two favorite courses in the area.

More fun stops include: Forest Park — where the best FREE zoo in the country resides, Pappy’s Smokehouse or Sugar Fire Smoke House for some of the best BBQ in town, the brand new TopGolf or Top Shooter’s Bar for that small town tavern feel and golf simulators.

I also encourage you to make your way to my hometown of Waterloo, IL, to get your dose of small town fun — “The other Loo” has several small brewery’s a wine bar, taverns and the best fried chicken in the Metro area!

Can’t wait for you all to experience my city! Need any more recommendations? Message me on Instagram!
